Well that is the latest buzz in Kollywood today! Sun Pictures has reportedly bagged the rights of Shankar's Nanban. Interestingly it is not known whether the production giants have bagged both the theatrical rights and satellite rights or only the satellite rights. The film which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots, will grace theatres for this Pongal which means there will two big releases during the Pongal weekend; Nanban and Vettai.
Nanban has Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva in the lead roles; Satyan will play the role of Chatur (Omi Vaidya), Ileana D'Cruz will appear in the role played by Kareena Kapoor, and Sathyaraj will appear as the insensitive professor Virus, which was played by Boman Irani. Harris Jayaraj's rocking tracks are already topping the charts.
