Vijay's Nanban, the first big Tamil release of 2012, has driven
the audience crazy. The forthcoming movie, which is releasing on
January 12, seems to be heading towards breaking records, as the
cine-goers have gone berserk over the tickets.
The advance booking for Nanban was started on Sunday (Jan 08) in most of the theatres in Chennai. In the city, the movie is hitting the screens on 27 cinema halls and the fans of Vijay have given a massive response for the pre-release reservation by turning up in large numbers.
As per the traders, the tickets of Nanban for four days have been sold. The ticket counters issued 'booking closed' display within a few hours of advance booking was started. It is also predicted that the black market will have a blast this Sankranthi due to Shankar's release.
